Was constantly getting the access violation error, but found a way to stop it. right click on kmplayer and go to properties, click on compatability and run in compatability mode for windows xp SP3. Ever since then never had a problem and runs smooth as normal!

I love the kmplayer and cannot use anything else as this already does everything i need and has so many options to make what you are watching exactly how you want it! If you use anything else then you should stop and get this, if not you're probably insane!!
